EnergyHub recognized a trend toward networked thermostats and has successfully translated its energy management software experience into providing products and services that utilities actually buy, through its Mercury smart thermostat and device platform. With over 100,000 Mercury-connected devices in market, partnerships with device manufacturers like Carrier and Radio Thermostat, and utility programs with Xcel Energy, South Carolina Electric & Gas, and a number of co-ops, EnergyHub is in position to be a dominant player in the growing connected thermostat management software and DRMS market. EnergyHub’s device partners’ extensive distribution has enabled EnergyHub to run “bring your own thermostat” demand response programs with CenterPoint Energy, Austin Energy and SDG&E. These innovative programs use thermostats distributed through retail stores, cable companies, service providers, etc. and are expected to grow in 2013. EnergyHub website>>
Harris Utilities -- For more than 35 years at Harris Utilities we have based our business strategy on developing products to meet the needs of utility companies across North America and the Caribbean. Our plans for 2013 include significant focus on refinements to our flagship products: MeterSense, our scalable, configurable and powerful meter data management application, and CustomerConnect, our robust, yet intuitive customer engagement solution. We will launch new versions of each in the first quarter of this year that will greatly enhance performance and functionality. MeterSense in particular will be augmented by the addition of more powerful analytics tools, an improved user interface and reporting and scalability improvements, while CustomerConnect will offer new modules that enable utilities and their customers to interact in increasingly sophisticated ways. Already, both products enjoy significant market shares. Harris Utilities website>>

Silver Spring Networks is not only a leader in the smart grid space but also has great technology products and global strategic partnerships. With its pioneering IPv6 networking platform, Silver Spring has connected more than 13 million homes and businesses throughout the world with the goal of achieving greater energy efficiency for the planet. It has also enabled utilities to respond faster and more efficiently. In the wake of Superstorm Sandy, Silver Spring Networks’ smart grid technology aided utilities with outage prevention and faster restoration. For example, with just 10 percent of its 1.3 million smart meters installed, Baltimore Gas and Electric was able to restore power to 90 percent of affected customers within 48 hours of the storm. Silver Spring’s technology will continue to enable utilities and their customers in 2013 as the technology is increasingly employed. Silver Spring Networks website >>
Smarter Grid Solutions (SGS) provides innovative active network management technology to enable transmission and distribution companies to tackle grid constraints, integrate distributed energy and respond to growing demands for reliable and secure supplies in a more timely and affordable way than building new grid infrastructure.
