A new version of the Navy's online gaming platform MMOWGLI (for Massive Multiplayer Online Wargame Leveraging the Internet) invites military personnel and the public to strategize ways to reduce the military's dependence on fossil fuels. The ZigBee Alliance recently announced there are now more than 500 ZigBee Certified products available to the market, a 60 percent surge since August 2011. According to the announcement, early market success with ZigBee Home Automation and ZigBee Smart Energy has led to ZigBee standards now playing a role in products developed by more than 350 global manufacturers.
