The SmartData Connect application delivers energy consumption data via what Ecologic Analytics describes as a straightforward and intuitive interface. The depth of data displayed is configured by the utility based on the access profile of the user. Utilizing On-Ramp's wireless infrastructure system and ElectSolve’s meter and operational data management platform, the companies say the pre-validated, pre-integrated solution for smart metering and critical infrastructure monitoring allows municipal utilities and coops to quickly realize the operational benefits of the smart grid while minimizing costs and risks. S&C's new DEM platform helps utilities optimize CES resourcesThe IntelliTeam Distributed Energy Management (DEM) from S&C Electric Co. provides a single entry point to large aggregations of community energy storage (CES) units, which allows them to function as a virtual power plant. The company says its IntelliTeam DEM provides state-of-the-art energy dispatch with convenient real-time and archival data storage as well as integration with central office systems.
