May 9, 2007 Smart Grid Millionaires

As we enter into a new phase – the mainstreaming of the Smart Grid – it makes sense to ponder where it will take us. To understand our likely future, we must remember that the Smart Grid is an enabler, not an end in itself. I predict it will enable three new things that will revolutionize the industry: 1) Smart Generation, 2) Smart Utilities and 3) Smart Customers.
