Telepathx
| Jesse Thanks for insight on Telepathx, we are a mid size coop located just outside Chicago and after a year of doing due dilligence on meter technology I can agree with you and think this is the future direction, no doubt by leveraging our future AMI investment it will be the best value for our community, and its going to be an easier sell to the public. | Energy Connect |
It will be interesting to see how EnergyConnect does next year. They've been under constant accusations of gaming the PJM system. Things have gotten bad enough that PJM has re-written their demand response rules to specifically exclude most of EnergyConnect's business practices. Demand Response is great, but EnergyConnect seems to specialize in finding ways for people to get paid for exploiting loopholes, not reducing peak energy consumption.

DR Vendors' Elimination after Smart Grid and AMI Implem
I am looking at a scenario when smart grid and AMI will be operational at its best, after huge investments in the best devices and application products by utility companies. At that time the utility companies themselves would be more than capable of micro managing their demand and thus ELIMINATING THE NEED FOR DR VENDORS ???
