| The saddest thing about the immense need to update America's electlrical grid is the utility companies great timidity against entering into "competition" in America's free enterprise system with BPL internet technology. There is a major need for another form of internet access to stimulate not only usage but competitive, affordable prices. Profits from installation of BPL customer internet access by utility companies would, I believe, provide enough extra profit to fully modernize America's electric grid. I say this through 10 years experience as a municipal elected official and three years as a board member of our area's Regional Planning Council. |
