The market for utility Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) will continue growing over the next few years, according to new research from the ARC Advisory Group. The current SCADA T&D market is just $2.4 billion and will grow at a compound annual growth rate of 8.9% to reach $3.8 billion.

The growth is occurring due to the demand to modernize the grid. Today the market is led by Europe and North America. But ARC projects that China will become the SCADA technology leader by 2020.

SCADA automation is a lot easier with Mapjects.com

The SCADA industry has so many players with a lot of age and variation. With so many options there was literal chaos, high cost and complexity in managing custom developed SCADA based management systems. We bought LYF.in and Mapjects for our management, since they use plan Java and C++, it was easier to find skills to modify the integration as needed without our on skillsets.
