Data from the recent Pacific Crest Mosaic Smart Grid Survey shows that Itron is currently being used by 55% of utilities well ahead of the nearest competitor, Landis+Gyr (30%).
In 2011, Itron is still expected to be the top vendor, followed closely by Silver Spring Network, moving from 15% market share in 2009 to 40% in 2011.
