PROJECT WINS
· Itron and Cisco were selected to join the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power's (LADWP) smart grid demonstration project. LADWP –
· Telvent has been selected by SA Power Networks of Australia to provide an advanced distribution management system (advanced DMS). It represents the first major advanced DMS project for Telvent in Australia and one of the company’s largest in the world. The company says it will allow SA Power Networks to serve its 830,000 customers more reliably with better overall
· Tendril confirms that Origin Energy, an Australian integrated energy company, launched its Origin Smart service built on the Tendril Energize application suite, providing its customers in Victoria insight into how they are using energy, along with tools to better manage their electricity consumption and bills. The rollout comes after a successful consumer engagement pilot using Tendril Energizer last year. Origin is Australia's leading energy retailer with 4.4 million customers. Read more >>
· Comverge reports that Progress Energy Florida will utilize its IntelliSOURCE Demand Response Management System (DRMS) for a 700 megawatt demand response program featuring two-way load management. The Comverge platform, which enables automation and end-to-end support for mass-market DR programs, will control 500,000 energy management devices that will be deployed throughout Florida. · EnerNOC has finalized an agreement with TransGrid, the New South Wales transmission network operator, to provide 35 megawatts of demand response capacity in the Sydney metropolitan area.
