On Aug. 24, 2011, Smart Grid News in conjunction with Accenture presented another in its Lessons from the Real World webinar series for power industry professionals. Topic: top lessons learned from real-world smart meter deployments and pilots. The secret sauce in this webinar is the collaboration between Jessica Baker, who is project manager for smart grid meter installation and provisioning at BGE, and Shanu Nigam, senior manager in the Smart Grid Practice at Accenture. Together they compiled the top 10 lessons learned from BGE's metering initiative and the many smart meter deployments and pilots that Accenture has been involved with.
