. Is the IEC Common Info Model part of the DMTF CIM standards effort?
DMTF CIM standards are a representation of the IT infrastructure (systems, networks, applications and services) in an object-oriented, UML-based hierarchy of information objects that represent logical or physical IT infrastructure elements. This includes data such as IP Sec policy, Security events, Database, Application, Network, etc.
IEC CIM is a UML based information model representing real-world utility objects and information entities exchanged within the value chain of the electric power industry. This includes meters, service points, customers, service orders, etc.
