Landis+Gyr, in cooperation with SAP AG (NYSE: SAP), is offering energy utilities a new dimension in the transparency and availability of energy data. The companies have cooperated on the development of a state‐of‐the‐art meter data unification and synchronisation(MDUS) system, an advanced software platform that integrates Landis+Gyr’s Advanced Metering Management (AMM) head‐end system with SAP’s comprehensive business software for utilities. Integrating smart metering and enterprise services saves costs, improves process efficiency, and brings utilities one step closer to an interoperable Smart Grid.
