Quick Take: One of the backers of CPower, Mayfield Fund Managing Director Navin Chaddha, told Reuters there were others interested in acquiring CPower and suggested it’s a sign of the times that non-traditional buyers of tech companies are coming into the market. That’s a positive trend, as Chaddha noted, not only for entrepreneurs and VCs, but also for the whole cleantech space of which demand response is an important and growing part.
