Diesel Emissions Reduction
Allocated to state: $1,730,000
- The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act is providing $1.7 million for Tennessee over two years. Environment and Conservation’s Division of Air Pollution Control will use the funds to advance the existing Clean Diesel Grant program, which assists trucking companies with the eligible costs associated with the purchase of idling reduction units. This will help reduce truckers’ fuel costs and achieve emissions reductions.
