OFM, one of the nation’s leading office and school furniture manufacturers, distributors and wholesalers, is financing a new project that will help make its headquarters completely carbon neutral. In advance of the 40th anniversary of Earth Day on April 22, OFM announced today it is installing a 250-kilowatt solar photovoltaic system on the roof of its main building in Holly Springs, N.C. The power generated each month through the solar farm will then be sold to Progress Energy.
