· Tendril is partnering with Tucson Electric Power (TEP) and the Arizona Governor's Office of Energy Policy on a new program to offer advanced energy management to homes with first-generation, one-way AMR meters. Funded through a DOE award, the program leverages the Tendril Connect cloud platform for communications between TEP and participating customers. Energy consumption data transmitted from customer meters will be analyzed by Tendril Connect and results will be shared with TEP customers via Tendril's web and mobile dashboards showing how and where energy is being used and providing personalized energy efficiency suggestions. “Behavioral energy efficiency is a significant and largely untapped resource that can help our customers to use less energy and save on their monthly electric bills,” said Eric Shoberg of TEP.
