Page 2: Read the press release >> In an effort to squeeze more energy savings out of commercial building operations, NV Energy and BuildingIQ have decided to set up a trial run of what they say is a new concept in energy efficiency. The project, which will be part of NV's long-term Market and Technology trials program, will be based on BuildingIQ's technology platform for dynamically optimized HVAC operations, and the two also will be working toward other options for energy savings and demand management.
The program is intended to cut energy costs and emissions while at the same time ensuring continued or improved comfort for occupants.
The trial will give NV the opportunity investigate the potential of a single integrated energy optimization system, which fits into the utility's priorities of finding solutions for integrated energy efficiency and demand response for programs to come.
