If you've been following SGN, it won't come as a surprise that Silver Spring Networks is on the verge of filing for an IPO. But it's not the only Smart Grid company contemplating the same move; others are trying to build up their revenues a bit higher to improve their chances. Silver Spring's story is already good enough.
