Survey: Utility Execs Forecast When EV Demand Will Impact the Grid

Nearly one-half of utilities surveyed in the recent Pacific Crest Mosaic Smart Grid Survey expect that electric vehicles will start placing a significant demand on the grid after 2018. Others expect that demand from electric vehicles will increase steadily starting in 2014. Only 10% of utilities expect significant demand in 2010 or 2012.
