Partner Hal Emalfarb drives a hybrid Prius converted to all-electric power. The firm works to help its clients get into the energy efficiency marketplace and to guide them in tailoring their products and services to generate sustainable jobs.
The station was installed by Carbon Day Automotive and is powered by Coulomb Technologies' ChargePoint® Network.
While the Highland Park station is said to the be the first wind-powered charging station in the world, it isn't the only one in Chicago powered by renewable energy. Carbon Day also installed a charging station that features a specially-designed solar canopy for Chicago's Department of Fleet Maintenance.
