Quick Take: As the MIT Technology Review points out, other companies are making chargers for electric vehicles. But the ability to easily integrate GE smart chargers with the rest of GE’s Smart Grid portfolio could provide a significant advantage given that GE products pretty much run the grid gamut from the power plant to the home. This spring GE’s Smart Grid offerings will expand with a line of EV smart charging stations.
