Phillip Bane

Philip Bane, Managing Editor of Smart Grid Newsâ„¢. As an energy and security analyst, Philip has practiced law, managed industrial security and digital publishing operations and negotiated numerous business transactions. He was the General Counsel for First Virtual Holdings, the first internet payment company, taking it public in 1996. He also founded the largest Russian security integration company, G2 Technology, Inc., based in Moscow, Russia and was President of a CCTV manufacturer, ATV in Seattle, WA. He was formerly President of IZ Inc., a digital publishing firm he co-founded with Jesse Berst.
